Long Term Care

THE HIGH PRICE OF DIGNITY

Scott Zimmerman speaks about, and sells, Long Term Care insurance with a passion.

The American population is aging at a rapid rate. Recent studies estimate that by 2005, over 35% of the US population will be age 65 or older. That fact, combined with the advances in medical technology and advances in pharmaceuticals, the average American will likely live to the age of 90, and into their 100’s.

It is a statistical fact that one out of every three Americans who reach age 65 will require some form of care – either at home or in some type of nursing facility – not for medical care but to aid with activities in everyday living

As a result of these issues, planning for the costs associated with extended care has become a component of every financial plan. In this interview, Scott Zimmerman gives us his very candid thoughts on planning for Long Term Care expenses.

Scott Zimmerman has over 17 years of financial services experience, is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He is a leading producer for several major Life Insurance Companies.
